Confirmation is a profound and sacred step in the journey of faith. Through this sacrament, we are sealed with the gifts of the Holy Spirit, strengthening us to live as committed disciples of Christ and full members of the Catholic Church.

Confirmation Preparation

• Age Requirement: Open to baptized Catholics, typically in their teens or adults through the RCIA program.
• Faith Formation: Candidates must complete a parish-approved preparation program.
• Service Hours: Participation in parish or community service may be required as part of the program.
• Sponsor: Each candidate selects a sponsor who is an active and practicing Catholic.

Confirmation Schedule

• Preparation Classes Duration: 2 years

What to Expect

• Candidates will learn about the role of the Holy Spirit and the mission of being a witness to Christ.
• Opportunities for prayer, reflection, and community building.
• A special Mass celebrated by the Bishop, where candidates are anointed with the sacred chrism and receive the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
