The Sacrament of Marriage

Marriage is a sacred covenant where a man and woman are united in Christ, committing to love, honor, and cherish one another for life. At St. Louis Catholic Church, we are here to guide you as you prepare for this beautiful sacrament.

Marriage Preparation

  • Initial Meeting: Contact the parish office at least 6 months before your desired wedding date.
  • A compulsory six months marraige class is held every Saturday and Sunday by 3:00 pm.
  • Documentation: Baptismal certificates (issued within the last six months), proof of Confirmation, and other relevant documents must be submitted.
  • Wedding Rehearsal: Scheduled a few days before the ceremony to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Guidelines for Your Special Day

  • Church decorations must align with liturgical guidelines.
  • Music selections should be sacred and approved by the parish music director.
  • Photography and videography are allowed but must respect the sacredness of the liturgy.

Why Choose a Catholic Marriage?

  • Marriage is not just a contract but a sacrament that invites God into your relationship.
  • It strengthens your bond as a couple and calls you to live out your vocation in faith and love.
