Who Can Become a Hospitality Minister?

- Personal Qualities: Hospitality Ministers should be approachable, courteous, and willing to serve with a joyful heart. A passion for making others feel welcome is essential.
- Commitment: Hospitality Ministers are expected to serve regularly at Mass and church events, offering a consistent presence of warmth and care.
Responsibilities of Hospitality Ministers
- Warm Welcome: Greet parishioners and visitors as they arrive for Mass, making them feel welcomed and valued.
- Assist with Seating: Help parishioners find seating, especially during busy Masses, and ensure that families or individuals with special needs are comfortably accommodated.
- Provide Information: Be knowledgeable about upcoming parish events and services, and offer information or assistance when needed.
- Help During Mass: Assist with the distribution of bulletins after Mass, as well as with any specific needs during the liturgy, such as guiding individuals to communion or offering special support to the elderly or disabled.
- Support Special Events: During parish events, hospitality ministers may help with registration, greeting guests, or organizing refreshments. They ensure that every aspect of the event runs smoothly and that guests feel at ease.

How to Become a Hospitality Minister
