St. Louis Catholic Church was alive with energy and laughter during its vibrant Children and Youth Harvest celebration on Sunday, October 28th. The event was a resounding success, with young parishioners exclaiming it was the “best day ever” and praising it as a highlight of the parish year.
Following the 7:00 AM Children’s Mass, the party at the Father’s compound was a whirlwind of joy, expertly hosted by MC Versatile Monique and MC Gabin. The event featured:
· Fun activities like bouncing castles, face painting, and games with mascots Mickey Mouse and MOD.
· Inspiring performances from the Block Rosary Crusade (drama) and the Missionary Childhood Association (dance).
· Generous servings of food, snacks, and drinks for all, courtesy of the parish and Nutrition C.
The four-hour celebration left a powerful impression on the community.
· “This is the first time since my stay in St. Louis that I’ve truly enjoyed the Children and Youth Harvest,” shared youth member John Adiku, highlighting its unique impact.
· Lady Edoro praised the event as “a wonderful innovation.”
The celebration brilliantly achieved its goal, bringing together the parish family and creating a beautiful expression of community and faith through fun. It was more than a party; it was a vibrant testament to the life of the parish.
