Welcome to the Sacrament of Baptism

Baptism is the first step in your journey of faith, welcoming you or your child into God’s family and the life of the Church. It is a beautiful moment of grace and new beginnings.

Baptism Schedule

• Infant Baptism is held bimonthly with an instruction class held on a Sunday for the childs parents and God parents before the baptism day.

How to Prepare for Baptism

• Contact the parish office to register and schedule a date.
• Attend a baptism preparation class (required for parents and godparents of infants).
• Submit the necessary documentation, including a completed registration form and a copy of the child’s birth certificate.

Requirements for God parents

• Must be practicing Catholics in good standing with the Church.
• Should have received the Sacraments of Baptism, Eucharist, and Confirmation.
• A non-Catholic Christian may serve as a Christian witness alongside a Catholic godparent.

Why Baptism?

• Baptism washes away original sin, fills us with God’s grace, and makes us members of His Church.
• It is the foundation of all other sacraments and a joyful celebration of new life in Christ.
