Who Can Join the Board of Lectors?

Responsibilities of a Lector

• Proclaiming the Scriptures: Lectors read the readings from the Old and New Testament during Mass, ensuring that the Word of God is delivered clearly and with respect.
• Assisting with the Prayers of the Faithful: Lectors lead the congregation in the intercessory prayers, calling for God’s mercy and blessings on the world.

How to Become a Lector
