CATHOLIC YOUNG ADULT ASSOCIATION (CYAA)

The Catholic Young Adult Association (CYAA) at St. Louis Catholic Church is a vibrant group of young Catholics committed to deepening their faith, fostering fellowship, and serving others. As young adults, we are navigating the challenges and joys of life, and through our association, we come together to support one another in living out our Catholic values and building a stronger relationship with God.

LEGION OF MARY

The Legion of Mary at St. Louis Parish, Egbeda, is a dedicated and prayerful group of parishioners who are committed to serving Christ through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary. They meet every Sunday, immediately after both the first and second Mass, gathering to deepen their devotion to Mary and to undertake various works of charity and evangelization within the parish community.

As part of their mission, members of the Legion of Mary strive to live out the virtues of humility, obedience, and faithfulness, modeling their lives after Mary’s example. Their meetings include prayer, spiritual readings, and discussions on how best to serve the needs of the Church and the wider community.

The Legion of Mary is actively involved in visiting the sick, offering prayers for those in need, and reaching out to others with the message of God’s love. CATHOLIC CHARISMATIC RENEWAL OF NIGERIA

They gather for fellowship every Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday at 6:30 p.m., providing a space for heartfelt worship, praise, and spiritual renewal.

SS PETER AND PAUL IDOMA CATHOLIC COMMUNITY

The SS Peter and Paul Idoma Catholic Community is a vibrant and closely-knit group within the larger parish, dedicated to preserving and celebrating their rich cultural heritage while deepening their faith in Christ. They meet every first Sunday of the month, bringing together members of the Idoma community to share in prayer, fellowship, and cultural expression.

During their meetings, the community engages in spiritual reflections, discussions, and plans various activities that strengthen their faith and unity. They also emphasize the importance of passing on their cultural and spiritual values to the younger generation, fostering a deep sense of identity and belonging.

THE ASSOCIATION OF SACRED HEART OF JESUS AND IMMACULATE HEART OF MARY
