The St. Mary Choir is the vibrant youth choir of St. Louis Catholic Church, dedicated to empowering young people through music and worship. This choir offers an opportunity for youth to express their faith through song while also growing spiritually, musically, and socially. The St. Mary Choir leads the congregation in praise, creating an atmosphere of reverence and joy during liturgies and special events.

Who Can Join the St. Mary Choir?

• Age Group: The choir is open to youth ages [ 13–30].
• Musical Experience: While prior musical experience is encouraged, it is not required. The choir is open to all young people with a passion for music and a desire to serve through song.
• Commitment: Youth choir members are expected to attend weekly rehearsals and participate in regular Masses, as well as special liturgical celebrations throughout the year.

Responsibilities of St. Mary Choir Members

• Lead Music at Mass: The St. Mary Choir enhances the liturgical experience by leading the congregation in song, helping to foster a deeper connection to the Mass and a more reverent atmosphere.
• Perform Special Music: In addition to weekly Masses, the choir sings at key liturgical events such as Christmas, Easter, and First Holy Communion Masses.
• Attend Rehearsals: Weekly rehearsals are essential for learning new songs, practicing hymns, and preparing for upcoming liturgies and special performances.
• Engage in Fellowship: The youth choir is a great way for young people to connect with their peers in a meaningful way, creating lasting friendships and a sense of belonging in the church community.

How to Join the St. Mary Choir

1. Register: Youth interested in joining can register by contacting the parish office or the choir director.
2. Attend Rehearsals: New members are encouraged to attend rehearsals to become familiar with the music and the choir community.
3. Participate in Services: Once trained, the youth will be included in Masses and special events, singing to uplift the spirit of worship in the parish.
